PRELIMINARY PLANNING DOCUMENTS (PPDs)

PPDs are used to plan courses far in advance and include details of which facilities and equipment are required to hold a course, and how many members of faculty are required. They also allow planning for license fees and income from paying participants.

Completed PPDs constitute an agreement between TAASK the host department, and should be signed by an economically responsible manager. This is intended to ensure that course leaders are protected from managers not being aware of the costs and incomes associated with holding a TAASK course.

Please see the course planning overview page for deadlines. Generally, the early the PPD is completed and submitted to the TAASK secretariat, the better.
